From Oak Ridge Place Residents

We’re very happy that we made Oak Ridge Place our choice 2 years ago when we knew she couldn’t live alone anymore. It’s been just the perfect place for her. She likes it here. Her apartment is comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff here are special kind of people, kind caring, and helpful in every way. Right from the heart. Mom is 10 now and she’s in a good place. We highly recommend Oak Ridge.

The McEwen Family -

My almost three years living at Oak Ridge Place I have always felt safe. Home health aids check on us every day and ask if we are in need of something. If you need assistance, just go to the office and they are eager to help. They are willing helpers. Theresa and the aids are there for you around the clock. Plenty of activities to choose from, a way of meeting people and staying active. Oak Ridge Place has it all.

I am 84 years old and have lived at Oak Ridge Place for nearly 4 1/2 years. I like it here and hope to stay for the rest of my life. I am safe here. My family members do not have to worry about me. Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a secure building. I have transportation for local shopping and medical appointments. Laundry machines are available on each floor. Our staff members are friendly and helpful. I have made many new friends among the residents.

Mother, we can stop looking for a retirement home for you. I found Oak Ridge Place. I know you’ll love it. The atmosphere is caring and happy. Some of the faculty have been here 5, 10, 15 years, The residents play all kinds of games, work puzzles and then even have a bus for shopping and appointments. Once a month they show movies or bring in live entertainment. Your meals won’t be a problem any more. They have a choice of nutritional and flavorful meals. Let’s go and introduce you to Oak Ridge Place – a great place to call home.

Staff greets you by the first name, or whatever name you request. A registered nurse is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are laundry room on all floors, residents can do their own laundry or there is an option for the staff to do it. I like that there are libraries on two floors. There is also a local daily newspaper in the St. Croix room.

A variety of apartments are available with different sizes and number of rooms. All have full bathrooms.

There are rides to local stores for shopping and for medical appointments. Residents can have meals in the dining room, or they can be delivered to your room. There is yoga exercise to video 3 days a week.
